Coins Related Birthday Gift

Question from Ernie: I would like to give my mother a present for her birthday relating to coins. She has started to collect the state quarters and has collected all the ones that have come out to date.

Do you have suggestions on coin subscriptions which I could purchase for her. They could be anything - I just would like her to get “something” in the mail on a monthly basis for a year - not neccessarily the state quarters.

Answer: What about a coin magazine subscription?

They aren’t coins, but they can provide hours of reading entertainment and lots of information.

I’ve enjoyed both Coins and COINage magazines. You could also get her a membership in the ANA and that would get her a subscription to The Numismatist, a monthly magazine with all sorts of information about coin collecting.
