There was an error in yesterday's coin trivia. The error was in the answer to question 2, which asked, "A portrait of Simon Bolivar appears on the coinage of what Central American country?" The answer was Panama. Michael wrote in to point out that Panama's coinage displays an image of Vasco Núñez de Balboa, and the coinage of Venezuela displays an image of Simon Bolivar. I've made the correction and appreciate Michael's keen eyes. |
