What can we expect in the rare coin market in 2005. It’s always fascinating to take a brief look at the various areas of the rare coin market prior to the start of a new year to see if there are indications as to just what might happen in the year ahead.

Certainly 2005 is no different, as with more new issues to be released, there will surely be a number of interesting stories in the year ahead. We can be sure of some things. Others may be harder to predict.

This is especially true when it comes to which coins will be market leaders during the course of the year ahead. Even with the best information available, who would have thought 2004 would see an assortment of clad quarter dates soar in price, making them one of the year’s surprise stories.

I was wondering, at a local collector shop they have a sign posted 7,500.00 for 1975 quaters in any condition. Can anyone tell me if they are really that valuable and why?
